Video & motion design for small businesses

Logo animation, product and promo videos.

Bringing brands to life.

We animate logos, turn your product photos into product videos, and make promo videos, intros and website video loops for small businesses, in After Effects, with AI as one part of the workflow. No filming needed: we work from the photos and footage you already have. I can design your logo, animate it and put it on your site, so every piece fits your brand.

The work

What kind of video and motion work do we make?

Logo animations, product and promo videos, and website loops, all made for your brand. A logo animation is a short video, usually 3 to 8 seconds, in which your logo moves, builds or reveals itself, ready to open a video, a social post or your website. Here are logo animations, promo and product videos, website hero loops, a gallery showcase and a character, newest first, each marked with the year it was made. Pick any piece to watch it, or open the full video.

Website video backgrounds

Can a video background load fast?

Yes, when it's built for the web. The hero on this site is the example: the gold logo animation plays behind the headline as a short loop, and the page is ready before it starts.

  • A seamless loop, about 10 to 20 seconds, with no jump at the end
  • No sound, compressed to load fast
  • A still image shows first, so the page never waits
  • Paused for anyone who turns motion off on their device

Case study · KandyMan

Can you make a product video from photos?

Yes. No filming needed. KandyMan sent one phone photo of each product. We gathered the photos for each category on one sheet and used the four sheets as references: we storyboarded each video, generated the clips to match their real products, and assembled the finished videos in After Effects.

The product video · AI-assisted

One photo in. A product video out.

KandyMan's Blue Raspberry Drops started as a single phone photo of the bag. It became this seven-second product video for their store and social posts.

Have footage of your own? We use it. If not, AI-generated clips fill the storyboard, matched to your real products and finished in After Effects.

What you get

What files do you get?

The right file for every place it plays. Tell me where your animation will be used, and you get a version made for each one, ready to upload.

Your files

  • MP4For your website, YouTube, ads and socials
  • Transparent MOV or PNG sequenceTo place your logo animation over any video or photo
  • Square and verticalFor Instagram, Reels, TikTok and Stories
  • Web loop and still imageSized for your site, with the still that shows first
  • Animated GIFFor email and signatures, when it suits

You own every file, to use anywhere, for as long as you like.

  • What I need from you

For a logo animation, your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF); no vector file is fine, I rebuild it first, the same way I do for a logo refresh. For a product or promo video, your product photos and any footage you have.

  • Silent, or with sound

Website loops stay silent. Intros, outros and videos can have sound effects and audio. For music, you send a royalty-free track you have rights to, or I help you find one.

  • After Effects, with AI in the workflow

AI is one part of how we work, never a one-click video. We plan each video as a storyboard, generate clips that stay true to your brand and products, then assemble and finish everything in After Effects, as we did for the hero video in KandyMan’s Shopify store. Every piece in the film strip was made in After Effects.

How it works

How does a video project work?

Four steps, start to finish. You see stills or a storyboard before anything moves, so the motion fits your brand the first time.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

What it is for, where it will play, and the photos or footage you have. A free consultation, then an estimate in hours.

  2. 02

    Style frames or storyboard

For a logo, a few stills of the look. For a product or promo video, a storyboard of the shots. Your OK comes before anything moves.

  3. 03

    Animate

Built in After Effects. Where AI is used, each clip is made to the storyboard and assembled there. You review a preview and ask for changes.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Every file for every place it plays, and placed on your website if you want it there.

Straight talk

What can't anyone promise?

Views. Motion makes a brand feel alive, but no designer can promise how many people will watch. Here is the honest split.

No one can promise
  • A set number of views or followers
  • That a video goes viral
  • That social apps keep their video sizes the same
  • Sales from motion alone
We do promise
  • Motion that fits your brand
  • A file for every place it plays
  • A website loop that won’t slow your site
  • You pay only for the hours used

Questions

The questions people ask most about logo animation, product and promo videos.

Updated

How much does a logo animation cost?

Most logo animations take 2 to 10 hours, depending on how complex the motion is. Pay as you go at $75 an hour, or save with prepaid hours: a 10‑hour block is $550 and a 20‑hour block is $800. You get an estimate after a free consultation, and every hour shows on your live report.

How much does a product or promo video cost?

Most product and promo videos take 2 to 10 hours, depending on the length and how many products or scenes they show. You get an estimate in hours after a free consultation: pay as you go at $75 an hour (2‑hour minimum), or a prepaid 10‑hour block for $550 or 20‑hour block for $800.

Do you film videos?

No. We work from the photos and footage you already have. Where there is no footage, we create clips with AI to a storyboard, matched to your real products and brand, and finish the video in After Effects. Have footage? We use it.

Can you make a product video from my photos?

Yes. KandyMan sent one phone photo of each product. We gathered the photos for each category on a sheet, storyboarded each video, generated the clips from those sheets and assembled the finished videos in After Effects. See the KandyMan example.

Why not use an AI product video app?

An app turns one photo into one short clip. We build a set: reference sheets of your real products, one consistent look across your whole range, your logo and colors, and every clip planned in a storyboard, then assembled and finished in After Effects as promos, store videos and social cuts. That is how KandyMan’s store hero video and product videos were made.

Do you write scripts or arrange voiceover?

Most of our videos tell their story with motion, text and music, without a voiceover. When a project needs a script or a voiceover, we can add it; tell us at the free consultation.

How long does a logo animation take?

Most projects are completed within 2 to 3 days of starting. Style frames come first, so you see the look before anything is animated.

What files will I get?

The files for every place your animation plays: an MP4 for your website, YouTube and socials, a MOV or PNG image sequence with a transparent background to place over other video, square and vertical versions for Instagram, Reels and TikTok, a web loop with its still image, and an animated GIF for email when it suits.

Can I get my logo animation with a transparent background?

Yes. You get a MOV with a transparent background (Apple ProRes 4444) that drops over any video, photo or color in your own editing app. If your editor or app prefers it, I can also send a PNG image sequence with a transparent background: one transparent image for every frame.

Can you animate a logo you didn’t design?

Yes. Most logo animations are for logos the client already has. Send the logo file and tell me where it will play.

Do I need a vector file of my logo?

A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) is best, because every edge stays sharp at any size. If you only have a picture of your logo, I rebuild it as a vector first.

Can you add music or sound effects?

Yes. Animations can be silent, or have sound effects and audio. For music, you provide a royalty-free track you have rights to, or I help you find one. Website video backgrounds stay silent.

Do you use AI to make your videos?

Yes, as one part of the workflow, never as a one-click video. We plan each video as a storyboard, generate each clip so it stays consistent with your brand and the products or items featured, then assemble and finish the video in After Effects. KandyMan’s videos and guitar player were made this way, from their own artwork and product photos. Every piece in the film strip on this page was made in After Effects.

Will a video background slow down my website?

Not when it is built for the web. The loop is short, silent and compressed, a still image shows first so the page never waits, and the video pauses for anyone who turns motion off. The hero video on this site is built the same way.

Can you make versions for Instagram, Reels and TikTok?

Yes. Social clips are short square and vertical cuts of your animation or video, sized for each app, and they can be added to any project.

Can you design the logo too?

Yes. I can design a new logo or refresh the one you have, then animate it. See Logo Design.

Can you put the animation on my website?

Yes. I can place it in your site’s header, hero or any section, or build the site around it. See Web Design.

Who owns the animation?

You do. You get the final files to use anywhere, for as long as you like.
