Updated
What if my site is down right now?
Call or text (916) 534-8720. It’s the fastest way to reach me. Send the form too, so the details are in one place.
How quickly will you reply?
I read every request myself and reply within one business day, usually sooner. The fix depends on the job and gets done as soon as possible.
Will a support request cost me anything?
If it needs paid time, you’ll hear that first. Rates are on the Pricing page.
Where do I log in to webmail or cPanel?
Use your own domain. cPanel is at yourdomain.com/cpanel and webmail is at yourdomain.com/webmail. Sign in to webmail with your full email address.
How do I change my email password?
Sign in to webmail and choose Password & Security.
How do I add or remove an email account?
On self-service hosting, you manage email accounts yourself in cPanel. With Full-service care, it’s handled for you.
Who keeps WordPress updated?
On self-service hosting, you keep WordPress, your theme and your plugins updated, or book a $150 Website Tune-Up. A Tune-Up is recommended at least once every 3 months. Full-service care keeps everything updated for you.
What if my site gets hacked?
Call or text right away. Full-service care fixes malware and hack damage free. So does self-service hosting with a Website Tune-Up booked at least once every 3 months. Otherwise, cleanup is billed at the hourly rate.
Can I back up my own site?
Yes. You can back up your own files and databases in cPanel, and I recommend it. Ask if you’d like to learn how. Full-service care includes a backup before and after every job.
How do I pay a hosting bill?
Yearly hosting is billed by PayPal invoice. Monthly hosting uses automatic PayPal payments. For a question about a bill, choose A bill or renewal in the form.

Email help
Email not working?
Start with the problem that sounds most like yours.
I can receive email but can’t send it
Check the outgoing server in your app: mail.yourdomain.com, port 465, SSL/TLS. Enter your full email address and password for outgoing too, even if the app says optional.
I’m not getting new email, or my mailbox is full
Delete old messages, including the ones in Sent and Trash, then check Email Disk Usage in cPanel. Extra storage is $4 a month or $40 a year per GB, on any plan. To add it, send a support request.
An email I expected went to spam
Check the spam or junk folder in your app and in webmail, and mark the message as not spam. If people say your email lands in their spam, read why emails go to spam.
My phone stopped syncing after I changed my password
Enter the new password in the email account settings on each phone, tablet and computer. If it still won’t sync, remove the account and add it again using the setup steps.
I forgot my email password
Reset it in cPanel under Email Accounts, then enter the new password on each device. If you can’t get into cPanel, send a support request.
I forgot my cPanel login
Send a support request and choose Hosting or a login. Please don’t include any passwords in the request.
cPanel
Manage your hosting in cPanel.
Log in at yourdomain.com/cpanel, then find each tool on the Tools page. The guides are cPanel’s own, so some screens may look a little different.
